The Weingut Mayer am Pfarrplatz, the epitome of Viennese Heurigen culture, has a centuries-old tradition of producing the finest Viennese wines in Heiligenstadt since 1683. Vienna is the only metropolis in the world with significant wine-growing regions within its city limits and its terroir is unique. The Vienna wine-growing region covers an area of approx. 640 hectares. Our village wines grow in the Grinzing, Hernals and Wiener Nussberg vineyards. Our wines from the Preussen and Langteufel single vineyards are classified as Erste Lage.
