Gruber-Röschitz BIO Riesling Eiswein 2021

Ice wine is the supreme discipline among sweet wines. The grapes for this Riesling thrive on granite soil in a cool, windy location. This special predicate wine was harvested on December 26, 2021 at 7 a.m. Healthy, frozen grapes were harvested at -8.5°€ and slowly pressed.

Rich straw yellow, sweet yellow tropical fruit notes, intense scent of honey, dried apricots, slightly spicy, raisins, fresh pineapple note.
On the palate it shows its elegant texture, wonderful notes of apricot compote, perfect tension of fruit sweetness and vibrant acidity, light-footed and piquant in the finish. Enormous storage potential.

Goes well with starters such as foie gras or liver pâté, with dessert as well as with blue cheese and matured hard cheese.
