The Mühlberg vineyard, the site with the oldest vineyard, stands on granite.

The humus soil layer here is only about 50 cm thick and the vines planted in 1968 are resistant, strong and resilient. They give us few, but all the more spicy, extractive grapes.
The Grüner Veltliner pressed from it is complex, intense and invites you to philosophize.

Shiny straw yellow immediately reminds of the scent of blossom honey, yellow fruit, ripe melon, Golden Delicious apple, slightly smoky tones, spicy.
On the palate honey notes are repeated, ripe apple, wonderfully peppery-spicy, finely mineral, salty, taut and powerful. Long storage potential for years of drinking pleasure.

Goes well with seared beef with sautéed porcini mushrooms, braised pork belly from the oven or even with dishes with a slightly exotic touch as well as mature cheese.

Wonderfully taut Grüner Veltliners, juicy Rieslings and finely nuanced St. Laurent and Pinot Noirs thrive in an organically managed microcosm in Röschitz, Lower Austria.

These include granite, loess and clay soils as well as an airy, cool climate, which in turn brings unique freshness and minerality with fruit to the palate. The harmoniously flowing family dynamics, which combine old knowledge and new spirit, give the wines an unmistakably harmonious character.
