White wine 12.5% Vol.
For this Weinviertel DAC, only grapes from the vineyards in Röschitz are used. Embedded in a gently rolling landscape, with soil formations of loess and primeval rock, this location offers the best conditions for Grüner Veltliner.
Bright, radiant yellow-green in color, the nose is nuanced by fresh apple and herbs.
On the palate, it is classically juicy and fruity, white pepper, repeated fresh stone fruit notes, finely spicy in the finish.
Goes well with classic Austrian cuisine, as an all-rounder for every celebration and with spicy vegetarian dishes.
Weingut Gruber-Röschitz
Three generations, three siblings, three united spirits: Maria, Ewald and Christian have found their common denominator in the family business in the western Weinviertel: wine.
Whether in the vineyard, in the wine cellar or in the wine sales, everyone at the Gruber Röschitz winery follows their innermost purpose.
Wonderfully taut Grüner Veltliners, juicy Rieslings and finely nuanced St. Laurent and Pinot Noirs thrive in an organically managed microcosm in Röschitz, Lower Austria.
These include granite, loess and clay soils as well as an airy, cool climate, which in turn brings unique freshness and minerality with fruit to the palate. The harmoniously flowing family dynamics, which combine old knowledge and new spirit, give the wines an unmistakably harmonious character.
