Every life has value and deserves dignity. Thus, every food is valuable. And only animals that have been kept with dignity should end up in the cooking pot or on the snack board!
It is out of this deep conviction that we have been running our organic farm in Kleinschlag in eastern Styria since 2017. With diligence, passion, lots of drive and heart. And so our happy turkeys, pigs and sheep are allowed to live a thoroughly pleasant life until the end of their days.
For us, ORGANIC is far more than just species-appropriate husbandry and the renunciation of antibiotics. ORGANIC is a holistic attitude to life that applies to all areas of the farm.
Happy people who do themselves and the environment a favour with a delicious decision for organic and regional meat.
This is exactly how our ORGANIC meat from our own production and slaughter tastes.
By the way, this is no coincidence, but rather the result of particularly fortunate circumstances. Here, in the unspoilt nature in Kleinschlag, our happy turkeys, pigs and sheep have enough time to grow and plenty of space. To scratch around on the green meadows to their heart's content, peck at worms, cackle, grunt or do whatever else comes to mind.
Antibiotics are just as absent from the feed bowl as any other chemicals. Instead, there is the finest ORGANIC grain, ORGANIC protein crops and a lot of nest warmth. Slaughtering takes place directly on the farm, because we want to make the end as pleasant as possible for our animals.
We definitely don't put nitrite curing salt or flavour enhancers in our sausage. We use aronia juice as a natural preservative and colour with beetroot.
This mixture not only provides variety in the animals' everyday lives, it is also the main ingredient for the particularly high quality of the meat.
