Roasted coffee beans made from 100% Arabica, grown on coffee plantations. 

Acidity:

Every coffee bean naturally contains fruit acids, because coffee is a fruit. Arabica beans usually contain more than Robusta. The same applies to the degree of roasting. In lightly roasted coffee, the acids are more pronounced than in dark roasted coffee. However, this acidity is not a sign of a faulty roasting. On the contrary: it gives the coffee a pleasant fruity taste. Coffee with a high acidity is appreciated by lovers of a spicy and refreshing taste. For those who prefer a spicy cup with a full taste and a hint of chocolate, we recommend a coffee with a low acidity. 

Degree of roasting:

The degree of roasting indicates how strongly the coffee beans have been roasted. Generally speaking, the lower the degree of roasting, the more pronounced the acidity of the coffee - the fresh fruity taste. The higher the degree of roasting, the more pronounced the taste of the coffee - the strong coffee taste with chocolate undertones. 

Taste:

Coffee with a lower taste value tastes finer and lighter. Coffee with a higher value has a complex and multifaceted taste. However, the decisive factor is always the amount of recognizable aromas. 

Intensity:

It determines how intensively the decisive aromas are present in the coffee. It is not the amount of aromas that matters, but how strongly and intensively you taste them. The higher the value, the more intense the taste. 

Compostability:

The capsules are 100% home compostable. They are suitable for home composters and compatible with Nespresso coffee machines. Ubomi coffee capsules are the first capsules to be certified for home composting (OK Compost Home). They are made on a biological basis and without aluminium - so when you enjoy your cup of coffee, you can simply put the capsule in your garden compost. The coffee beans are collected and then slowly roasted in drums, at a maximum temperature of 210 ° C for 20 minutes. This gives the beans time to develop their intense aroma and a harmonious taste. Simply great!
