- in the case of inflammation and atrophy of the nasal mucosa, which are accompanied by dryness, crust formation and ulceration (rhinitis sicca).
- after operations on the pituitary gland or after surgical interventions that are performed through the nose or mouth.
- if you are taking MAO inhibitors (medicines for depression) at the same time or have taken them within the last two weeks.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Fentrinol Nasal Drops.
Fentrinol Nasal Drops should not be used in the case of acute onset of cardiac arrhythmias and chest pain that can radiate to the surrounding area.

Special care is required,
- if you suffer from coronary artery disease (arteriosclerosis)
- with high blood pressure
- in the case of dilation of the vessel walls (aneurysms)
- with diabetes mellitus
- with an overactive thyroid gland
- if you suffer from a tumor of the adrenal medulla (pheochromocytoma)
- with an enlarged prostate

Fentrinol Nasal Drops must not be used continuously for more than 7 - 10 days, as prolonged use can lead to swelling of the nasal mucosa after discontinuation.
In addition, long-term use can lead to a reduction in the effect and damage to the nasal mucosa (regression of the mucous membrane in the area of the anterior nasal septum).

Children
Fentrinol Nasal Drops should not be administered to children under 3 years of age (risk of an effect on the entire organism).

Use of Fentrinol Nasal Drops together with other medicines

- Narcotics (anesthetics)

The simultaneous use of other medicines that are administered through the nose with Fentrinol Nasal Drops should be avoided.
