Asparagus is the king of vegetables. It is rich in protein, vitamins, fibre and minerals, but low in calories. Famous for its detoxifying effect, it is also the best friend for losing weight thanks to its low nutrient content. We also treat it like royalty. If it takes two years until the first harvest, the asparagus now expects special attention: it is harvested carefully by hand, then carefully washed without chemical agents only with brushes and cooled with ice water. From mid-April to mid-June, it is now ready for consumption by our customers as green, white and purple asparagus.

The white is the most popular of the asparagus in Central Europe. It is also called white asparagus. No wonder, since it does not come into contact with sunlight until the harvest. The soil is steamed over the shoots so that they retain their virgin colour. White asparagus stands out for its tenderness and its special aroma, which gives it its fine flavour. White asparagus must be peeled before eating. Peel the white asparagus from about 2 cm below the head downwards.
