To achieve this effect, 100% beans from controlled organic cultivation are used. Traded according to the rules of the FAIRTRADE seal of quality, blended in a balanced way and gently roasted, it becomes a premium coffee - intensely floral in aroma, complex and strong in taste.

Gently roasted

Since 1912, J. Hornig has been roasting only selected coffee beans from the best growing regions in the world. We swear by the traditional long-term roasting process. In this process, the beans are roasted slowly but gently for about twelve to 20 minutes. This way, the flavour potential of the green coffee is fully exploited and the chlorogenic acid in the beans is better broken down. This makes the coffee particularly gentle on the stomach.
