Bull Beef® Spider Steak owes its name to its striking marbling, reminiscent of a spider's web, and because of its shape it is also called a bat cut. There are only two small steaks of a few hundred grams per animal, which is why it is often out of stock and therefore a real rarity. The muscle in the hindquarters is little used, as with the fillet, so the meat of the spider steak is beautifully dark and tender.

Note: Since this is a steak that consists of a whole grown muscle, the average weight can vary depending on the animal.

Preparation:

BULL BEEF® Spider Steak should be seared briefly on the grill and cooked over indirect heat for 2-3 minutes. It is also ideal for braising or cooking sous-vide and then serving. A spider steak is best cooked medium rare or maximum medium.

About the producer:

Haller's BULL BEEF®, as it should be, comes directly from his own farm, the largest circular economy in Austria. For pioneer and veterinarian Christoph Haller, respect in dealing with animals and climate protection through circular economy are a matter of course.

Our bulls are fed with lots of grass and hay from the Ramsar protected area, are bedded on straw in the loose housing, and are of course all allowed to wear horns.

Only when our meat has matured optimally in the Bullinarium's own maturing chambers is BULL BEEF® created as it should be - without growth promoters and hormones, with natural marbling, without excessive fat storage and unique in taste.

Climate positive through circular economy

The manure is converted into biogas, which is used to produce green electricity for more than 3,000 households at the power plant on the farm.
