Traumaplant ointment is a herbal ointment preparation and contains an extract of cultivated legwort.
Traumaplant ointment is used for bruises, sprains (in sports and accident injuries); also to accelerate the healing of accompanying abrasions; muscle and joint pain.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.

Traumaplant ointment is a herbal ointment preparation and contains a cultured legwort extract.
Traumaplant ointment is used for bruises, sprains (in sports and accident injuries), also to accelerate the healing of accompanying abrasions, muscle and joint pain.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.
What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What should you be aware of before using Traumaplant ointment?
Traumaplant ointment must not be used,
- If you are allergic to cultured legwell or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6. .
Do not get in eyes, do not apply to mucous membranes.
After application, hands should be washed thoroughly.
If you have ever been diagnosed with a drug allergy, please tell your doctor.
Children
Due to insufficient data, use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
Use of Traumaplant ointment with other medicines.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.
No studies have been conducted to detect interactions.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Since there are insufficient data, use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
Driving ability and ability to operate machinery.
No impact.
Traumaplant ointment contains sorbic acid and propylene glycol.
Sorbic acid may cause local skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).propylene glycol may cause skin irritation.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to use Traumaplant ointment?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
For use on the skin (externally).
Apply Traumaplant ointment once or several times a day to the skin over the affected tissue or. on the cleaned abrasion, particularly suitable for ointment dressing.
Do not use for longer than 8 weeks per year.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3-4 days, consult your doctor.
Use in children
As there is insufficient data, use in children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
If you have used a larger amount of Traumaplant ointment than you shouldno effects are expected.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What Traumaplant ointment contains
- The active substance is: Cultivated legwort extract:
100 g ointment contains 10 g extract of fresh herb of cultivated legwort (Herba Symphyti x uplandici herba, recens), drug-extract ratio (2-3:1) consisting of:
4.g pressed juice from fresh herb of cultivated legwort (ratio of medicinal plant to pressed juice 3-8:1) and 6 g liquid extract from the press residue (ratio of medicinal plant to liquid extract 3-10:1), extraction agent ethanol 30 % V/V.
- The other ingredients are:
Macrogol glycerol stearate, glycerol monostearate 40-55, 2-octyldodecanol, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, silicone oil, purified water, rosemary essential oil, citric acid, α- tocopherol acetate, sorbic acid, hydroxyethyl salicylate.
