The slow roasting process takes 24 minutes at a low temperature. This gives this fantastic coffee its exceptional elegance. The coffee has a soft and balanced cup and is particularly characterized by its round and fine aromatic finish with chocolate tones. A full-bodied coffee with a hearty aroma for discerning connoisseurs.

The origin of this single-varietal 100% Arabica coffee from organic, sustainable cultivation has been certified since 2002 by annual audits by “Austria BIO Garantie” with the number 4-01558.2011.

The “Oro verde” is grown in existing and natural forests in northern Peru at an altitude of 1,200 meters. The harvest is done exclusively by hand.

Due to the special shady location, the growth process of the plant is slowed down. The ripening of the cherry also takes place over a longer period of time.

This gives the bean a special intensity of flavor”. The high sugar development during the ripening of the cherry enables a unique natural sweetness with fine, fruity tones in the cup.
