A unique organic symbiosis results from the cooperation between the two pioneering companies PANNATURA on the Esterhazy organic estate in Burgenland and the organic farm Hackl in south-eastern Styria on the Styrian-Burgenland border, which is run by son Jakob in the second generation.

The feed for the Sonnenschweine comes from the Esterhazy organic estate, which has been farming organically for over 22 years and is one of the largest organic pilot farms in the country. In the midst of Europe's most valuable natural areas, embedded in the region around Lake Neusiedl, lie PANNATURA's organically farmed areas.

In their own factory, the Sonnenschweine are refined and processed further after a stress-free slaughter.

The meat factory is one of the most modern of its kind. In addition to organic pork, organic Angus cattle from suckler cow husbandry and local game from sustainable hunting are also processed here.
