The counterpart to Mosto Oro, but not a single variety but a cuvée of the olive varieties Taggiasca, Gentile and Peranzana. Very balanced, delicately fruity and mild. Just as it goes best with Ligurian fish cuisine.
About Calvi
The Calvi family is based in Imperia in Liguria and is a fourth-generation olive oil merchant, producer and farmer. They are known for their Mosto Oro, the single-varietal olive oil from late-harvested Taggiasca olives. In addition to this mild and fruity flagship oil, Mosto Argento, a blend, and the best anchovy fillets are the calling cards of this quality house.
