The popularity of Bratwurst is due to a combination of taste, versatility, simplicity and tradition. Undoubtedly a classic and popular all year round - whether on the grill or with side dishes from the pan in the cold season. Those from Berger score with regional pork from the climate protection program Regional-Optimal. This saves up to 45% Co2.
The animals for the REGIONAL-OPTIMAL products are raised exclusively by over 40 selected Austrian farmers within a radius of maximum 50 kilometers from the location in Sieghartskirchen. The feed is 100% GMO-free and comes from the farmers' own cultivation or from the nearby Danube region. By avoiding soy meal from overseas, climate-damaging CO2 can be saved and at the same time the existence of the farmers in the region can be secured.
- 100% pig fattening in Austria
- 100% GMO-free feed
- Corn, cereals and protein feed 100% from Austria or the nearby Danube region
- 100% fulfillment of the AMA quality seal standards
- Climate-friendly transport routes of maximum 50 kilometers to our own slaughterhouse
- Complete control of the origin of the feed through an internet-based data program
