About the breed:

Mangalitza is a pig breed that originated in Hungary. They are wooly pigs, which get their name from their dense, wool-like bristles. The animals' thick layer of fat, which can be up to 20 cm thick on the back, is also characteristic. This protects the animals from the cold in winter when they are kept outdoors. The fat of Mangalitza pigs is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
