Mattigtaler Organic Blue Cheese
With our versatile range of soft cheeses, we can offer something special to all cheese lovers. The range extends from the mild and creamy Camembert with its typical velvety mould to the strong and spicy soft cheese, which develops its characteristic flavour as it matures.
About the manufacturer:

In the midst of the idyllic green landscape of the Mattigtal valley lies the Krimpelstätterhof. It was first mentioned in a document around 1600 and was farmed by the Krimpelstätter family until the middle of the last century. Since 1978, the Mangelberger family has continued the farm's tradition of dairy farming.

In 1994, the dream of having their own farm dairy came true. Josef Mangelberger senior was able to give free rein to his passion here. Even then, he was fascinated by the precious raw material of milk and what could be made from it. His philosophy was from the very beginning: the higher the quality of the milk, the higher the quality of the product. With this guiding principle, he was ultimately able to achieve the excellent quality of the products.

Incidentally, the name Mattigtaler Hofkäserei comes from the Mattig, which flows right past the farm and which particularly characterises the surroundings.
