Violife Emmental Flavour Slices can be enjoyed cold on bread, in a salad or on their own, or warm as a filling for quesadillas, for example.

INGREDIENTS FOR QUESADILLAS WITH VIOLIFE EMMENTAL FLAVOUR SLICES (serves 2)

● 1 pack of Violife Emmental Flavour Slices (4 slices) ● 200 g fresh spinach ● 4 vegan tortillas
● 1 small onion, chopped ● 1 garlic clove, chopped ● 40 g coconut butter ● Fresh basil ● Olive oil
● Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
 

PREPARATION

Heat some olive oil in a large pan and sauté the spinach, onions and garlic until soft. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the coconut butter, fresh basil and salt and pepper and mix lightly until the coconut butter has melted.

Place the spinach mixture with 2 slices of Violife Cheddar Flavour on a tortilla and place a second tortilla on top. Repeat with the other 2 tortillas. Toast or sauté lightly until the Violife slices melt. Cut each tortilla sandwich into quarters and serve.
