The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over take 1 retard capsule once a day.
Take the retard capsules with plenty of fluids in the form of tea, fruit juice or water. You can take the retard capsules independently of meals. The active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride is released with a delay. You must therefore always swallow the retard capsules whole and unchewed.
Children
Mucosolvan 1x daily 75 mg - Retard capsules are not suitable for use in children under 12 years of age due to the high active ingredient content. Mucosolvan is available in more suitable dosage forms for these patients.
Patients with impaired renal function
