Coldamaris Monodose is a sterile, isotonic saline solution without preservatives in single-dose vials for nasal, eye, and ear hygiene, as well as for wound cleaning and inhalation.

Application of Coldamaris Monodose:

Application

• Wash your hands carefully before use.
• Separate a single-dose vial and twist off the cap to open. COLDAMARIS MONODOSE is now ready for use. 
• Do not use the contents of the vial if it is already damaged, as the sterility of the solution may no longer be guaranteed! 
• A single-dose vial is intended for single use and must be used immediately after opening. A vial may only be used for one person and for one type of application.

Nasal and Eye Hygiene: 

• For nasal and eye hygiene, the product can be used daily, as needed, for 1 to 6 applications per day. Application in the nose: For instilling or rinsing in case of dry or blocked nose. Tilt your head to the side, carefully insert the tip of the vial into the nostril and gently squeeze the vial. Repeat the process for the other nostril. Bring your head back to an upright position so that the secretion can drain, and wipe off any excess liquid. Do not blow your nose vigorously 10 minutes after application. 
• When using the product on children, instill the solution with as little pressure as possible to avoid any risk of middle ear contamination.

Application to the Eye: 

• For instilling, cleaning or bathing.
• Put a few drops of the solution into each eye. Wipe off any excess liquid with a sterile cloth. The single-dose vial must not come into contact with the eye surface. If you are using another eye product, start with COLDAMARIS MONODOSE and wait 15 minutes before applying the other product: The solution is also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Ear Hygiene:

• For rinsing. For proper ear hygiene, use COLDAMARIS MONODOSE after applying a surfactant to lift and rinse out dissolved earwax. A single-dose vial can be used for both ears. Wipe off any excess liquid with a cloth.

Wound Hygiene:

• For rinsing. Rinse the wound with the entire contents of a single-dose vial. Wipe off excess liquid only from healthy skin. Avoid contact of the vial with the wound.

Inhalation: 

• If COLDAMARIS MONODOSE is used as a solvent for inhalation during aerosol therapy, observe the instructions on the product to be inhaled. 
• If the solution is used undiluted for inhalation during aerosol therapy, observe the instructions for use of the aerosol therapy device. For first-time use or in case of respiratory hypersensitivity, consult your doctor.

Note

• Use by one person only! For single use!
• Use the solution immediately after opening and dispose of the single-dose vial after use.
• Do not use the same single-dose vial for different applications.
• Not for injection!
• Do not use after the expiry date.
• Do not use the solution if the single-dose vial is damaged.
• Avoid contact of the vial with the eye or wounds.
• Keep out of reach of children!
• Opened single-dose vials must not be reused: as the product contains no preservatives, there is a risk of using a contaminated solution if reused.
