Houseleek Sempervivum in the ∅ 12cm pot

CULTIVATION

The small village of Gaubitsch is located in the northern Weinviertel. Here, Cornelia & Thomas Schmidl run their 3rd-generation nursery, which has existed since 1952.

Here, plants like the houseleek are lovingly cultivated.
Gardening is a craft that requires a lot of intuition, knowledge, and understanding of nature.

The nursery produces not only winter-hardy perennials, but also herbs and vegetable plants, summer flowers, summer cut flowers, and much more. Meanwhile, a part of the nursery is also organic certified. In our organic partial operation, microgreens, cut basil, and tomatoes are grown.

Sustainability is important to us! Therefore, for over ten years, we have been relying on plant strengthening and the use of beneficial insects.
