Gaura ‘Ellura White’

With its snow-white, butterfly-like blossoms, the Gaura ‘Ellura White’ enchants throughout the summer until autumn. The delicate flowers dance on slender stems in the wind, lending an elegant, airy lightness to beds, borders, or pots.

This variety impresses with particularly abundant and long-lasting blooms, a compact growth habit, and its excellent suitability for modern plantings and romantic garden designs. ‘Ellura White’ is easy to care for, drought-tolerant, and attracts numerous bees and butterflies.
 

CULTIVATION

The small village of Gaubitsch is located in the northern Weinviertel. Here, Cornelia & Thomas Schmidl run their 3rd-generation nursery, which has existed since 1952.

Here, plants like the Gaura are lovingly cultivated.
Gardening is a craft that requires a lot of intuition, knowledge, and understanding of nature.

The nursery produces not only hardy perennials, but also herbs and vegetable plants, summer flowers, summer cut flowers, and much more. Meanwhile, a part of the nursery is also organic certified. In our organic sub-operation, microgreens, cut basil, and tomatoes grow.

Sustainability is important to us! Therefore, for over ten years, we have been relying on plant strengthening and the use of beneficial insects.
