This elegant Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvee Cava is a premium Spanish sparkling wine in a 0,75 l bottle. Crafted from Chardonnay, Macabeo, Parellada, and Pinot Noir, it features fine bubbles and lovely aromas of ripe pineapple and peach. With 12% Vol., this refreshing Cava pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses. Please note, this product is for those over 18 only.

Tasting notes:
Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Clean and bright. Fine and lively bubbles, forming a rosary and a light crown. Pleasant, elegant aromas of acacia flowers and slightly honeyed notes, with ripe fruit in the background (pineapple, peach and Reineta apple).
On the palate it starts off soft and appealing and opens up with the same fruit aromas,
The ripe fruit combines with a clean, crisp acidity and develops into a long, balanced finish.
Food pairing:
Ideal Cava for aperitifs with seafood or fish with green sauce. Poultry tastes very good with this Elyssia, as it allows it to unfold. Soft cheeses such as Brie, Camembert, Torta del Casar or some young Gruyeres go very well with it, as this Cava is not completely dry (9 g sugar/litre).
The elegance of its blend with Chardonnay goes well with pasta with cream or butter sauce. A somewhat more original option could be Japanese fish sashimi, dumplings or coconut milk curries. Surprisingly good with: Fish & Chips
