BB Baština 1858 Plum Brandy

BB Zwetschkenbrand Bastina 1858 is a 6-year-old plum brandy that first appeared in 2018 in a strictly limited anniversary series of only 1,858 bottles, on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the city of Bajina Bašta by a decree of Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjević on July 12, 1858. This is a plum brandy with a special character and high quality. It is obtained from selected fruits of the autochthonous plum varieties Schlehe and Pozegaca from the Tara and Bajina Bašta regions by double distillation and matures for several years in selected 500-liter oak barrels made of Serbian oak from Goc. This is followed by a strict selection of the best distillates. It is characterized by a very rich, complex aroma, offers luxurious power and at the same time fruity freshness. Ideal in combination with mature cheese, desserts with dark chocolate and high-quality cigars.
