Stoka Teran is a dry red wine with subtle acidity, made from the Refoska grape variety in the Slovenian Karst region. The character of this red wine is strongly influenced by the red Terra rossa soil of the Karst. According to old records, Teran was already known in Roman times as a wine with healing properties. Gourmets prefer to enjoy Stoka Teran with Karst ham, dried meat and red meat.
