KRUT, short for "Surkrut", is the Old High German and still common name for sauerkraut in the Alemannic language area. The KRUT company revives the forgotten culinary art of fermentation, refines fruit & vegetables and turns them into superfoods for a balanced diet with millions of healthy microorganisms.
In addition, a sign is set against food waste: Vegetables & fruit that would otherwise be thrown away are given a second chance. Through fermentation, surplus food is saved, fermented and preserved.
