The family business was founded in 1997 by Anton Juffinger and his wife Helga. The idea of making regionally produced products accessible to a wider audience arose from direct marketing on the parents' organic mountain farm. Anton Juffinger, organic farmer, master butcher and certified meat sommelier, wanted to offer small, alpine agricultural businesses a future perspective and thus became a partner of many local organic farmers. The butcher's shop relies on the principle of "everything from a single source": slaughtering, processing and refining take place in-house, which guarantees the highest quality. Processing is carried out exclusively according to organic circle and organic Austria standards, whereby the animals come exclusively from small-scale, organic-certified farms. The products are made according to the company's own traditional recipes with hand-mixed spices.
