Thanks to optimal living conditions, this MSC-certified lobster has a sweet taste. This is the tail of the lobster. In order to keep stocks healthy and stable, the fishing quotas are limited.

The namesake of the cold-water lobster Tristan is the island Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic. It is considered the most remote inhabited island in the world. Everything on this small island revolves around lobsters. The inhabitants wear the crustacean in their coat of arms on the national flag.

And now for the preparation: After a short thawing for 15 minutes in cold water, all culinary possibilities are open to you. A light salad or crispy summer rolls get a sophisticated touch with our prawns, while they provide a protein-rich taste dimension in a warm dish such as pasta, soup or stew. Be sure to try the classic recipe for a quick & delicious crab cocktail.

A short warming in boiling water is enough, and you are ready to be enchanted by the versatility and deliciousness of our organic Black Tiger giant prawn. It also makes a great shape in the pan when fried briefly.

Store frozen at -18 degrees. Thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Do not refreeze after thawing.
