Efko Frischfrucht und Delikatessen GmbH has been growing steadily since it was founded more than 80 years ago. The company has developed from a local fruit and vegetable processor to the most important sauerkraut producer (vegetables in jars) in Austria. Then as now, the focus of daily work is on the natural preservation of fresh crops.
Efko is a cooperation partner of the Upper Austrian Fruit and Vegetable Utilisation Cooperative with around 125 farmers from the region, who produce fruit and vegetables of the best quality according to strict criteria.
