About the Manufacturer:
The Krimpelstätterhof is located amidst the idyllic green landscape of the Mattigtal. It was first documented around 1600 and managed by the Krimpelstätter family until the middle of the last century. Since 1978, the Mangelberger family has continued the farm's old tradition of dairy farming.
In 1994, the dream of having their own farm cheese dairy was realized. Josef Mangelberger Sr. was able to let his passion run wild here. Even then, he was fascinated by the precious raw material milk and what could be made from it. His philosophy from the beginning was: the higher the quality of the milk, the higher the quality of the product. With this guiding principle, he ultimately achieved the excellent quality of the products.
The name Mattigtaler farm cheese dairy comes, by the way, from the Mattig, which flows directly past the farm and significantly shapes the surrounding area.
