Morbidi Salame Toscano
This is the typical Tuscan salami, inspired by ancient recipes. It stands out for its consistency and boasts a flavorful aroma obtained through natural spices. It has a very strong and spicy taste, typical of Tuscan sausages.
It tastes best:
- as an appetizer: best enjoyed with a good glass of red wine, along with honey, fruit, and cheese. Pairs well with Tuscan bread.
- as a sandwich: perfect for filling a hearty Tuscan sandwich.
About the company:
It all began in 1925 with a small dairy in the old town of Siena. From then on, the name Morbidi became synonymous with “good food” for the locals. In the 1940s, we began working with pork and then with sheep's milk, in line with the oldest local traditions. Over the generations, we have evolved into a modern company with a strong focus on sustainability and a short supply chain, but we have never forgotten where we started: in a wonderful place that is still ready to welcome anyone who passes through the heart of Siena.
