About Milka 

The name Milka is composed of the most important ingredients of our chocolate: milk and cocoa. However, Milka Alpenmilch chocolate becomes unmistakable only through its particularly tender melting. In order for Milka - piece by piece - to melt on the tongue and always taste equally good, only high-quality ingredients are used.

For more than 100 years, the milk for the chocolate has come exclusively from the Alpine region. With every liter of milk that is received from the suppliers, it is ensured that it comes 100 percent from the valleys and high valleys of the Alps as well as from the Alpine foothills.

Milka chocolate is made with sustainably grown cocoa: Cocoa Life is the global cocoa sustainability program of Mondelēz International. It is a major concern of Mondelēz that cocoa, as one of the most important ingredients, is produced in a good and sustainable way. Cocoa Life was therefore introduced in 2012, and by 2030 a total of 1 billion US dollars will be invested in expanding the program in order to secure the procurement of more sustainable cocoa and to develop an integrated approach that strives to combat the causes of systemic problems in the cocoa sector.
