The sea bream (Sparus aurata) is one of about 50 different bream species. The grey-blue/silvery shimmering fish have a gold band between their eyes, hence the name gilt-head bream. The natural habitat of this species is the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and the eastern Atlantic from Great Britain.

Taste and preparation:
The flesh is delicious and tender, it has a well-rounded taste and a natural sweetness.
The fillets can be perfectly fried or grilled on the skin side, but are also suitable for baking in the oven on a bed of Mediterranean vegetables.

This product comes from a farm that has been independently certified according to the Aquaculture Stewardship Council standard for responsibly farmed seafood.
