It is used to relieve and treat gas-related gastrointestinal complaints such as flatulence (meteorism), bloating, cramping abdominal pain or belching. It is also used to prepare for diagnostic examinations in the abdominal area, for example before an X-ray examination, endoscopy or sonography. Despite its high dosage of 250 milligrams of simeticon per single dose, Lefax® intens is very well tolerated because it acts purely physically and is not absorbed by the body: The active ingredient simeticon dissolves the gas bubbles that form during digestion and cause the unpleasant discomfort. The gases released in this way can now escape naturally. Lefax® intens can also be used over a longer period of time if necessary. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted so that the cause can be investigated. Which dosage form is right for me? Without colouring or flavouring. • Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh is a fast-dissolving micro-granulate. It dissolves in the mouth in seconds and tastes pleasantly fresh like lemon. In the practical sachet, Lefax® intens Lemon Fresh is taken without water and is therefore also ideal for when you are on the go.

Application

How to take Lefax® intens liquid capsules?The tasteless version of Lefax® intens should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid, preferably a large glass of water. Swallow the liquid capsule with or after meals, if necessary also before going to bed.
