Alpinamed® cranberry granules are used for the dietary treatment of urinary tract infections. Every second woman knows urinary tract infections (bladder infections) from her own experience. The mucous membrane of the bladder is inflamed and there is burning and pain when urinating as well as an increased urge to urinate. In most cases, urinary tract infections are triggered by intestinal bacteria (mostly E. coli). The ingredients contained in cranberries, the so-called proanthocyanidins (PAC's), prevent germs from adhering to the mucous membrane of the bladder. Application
