The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in the aforementioned
areas of application is based exclusively on many years of use.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 1 week, consult your doctor.

What is BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray and what is it used for?

Traditional herbal medicinal product for the symptomatic treatment of inflammations in the
mouth or throat (such as sore throat, hoarseness and difficulty swallowing) in the context of colds.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use for the above-mentioned indications.
This medicine is used in adults.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.

What should you pay attention to before taking it?

What should you bear in mind before using BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray ?

BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray must not be used
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to sage, thyme, any other member of the labiates family or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray.

• Do not spray into eyes or nose.
• Do not spray into open flames.

If shortness of breath, fever or purulent sputum occur, a doctor must be consulted.
Children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.

Use of BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray together with others Medicinal products
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.

No studies have been conducted to detect interactions.

The intake of sage preparations could influence the effect of drugs that act via the GABA receptor (e.g. barbiturates, benzodiazepines), even if not yet seen clinically. Therefore, concomitant use with these medicines is not recommended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Due to insufficient data, the use of this medicinal product is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.

BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray contains ethanol (alcohol) .
This medicine contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per single dose.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to use BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray?

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is
adults:
2 to 4 times (1 to 2 sprays each).

Type of application
Application in the mouth and throat area
The spray allows an even and fine distribution of the active ingredients as well as a targeted application to the affected areas.

• Locate the rotating cannula on the spray pump at right angles to the bottle (see sketch).
• You can now hold the spray head in front of or in the open mouth, depending on your needs and the desired application site. The cannula on the spray pump allows you to easily reach hard-to-reach places (such as tooth pockets).
• Spray BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray by squeezing 1 to 2 times. Before first use, pump several times until a uniform spray comes out.
• Reseal the spray pump after each use by turning back the cannula (see sketch).

Application in children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to lack of data.

If you use a large amount of BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray have more than you should
In the case of an overdose corresponding to an ingestion of more than 15 g sage leaves, a feeling of warmth, rapid heartbeat, dizziness and epileptic convulsions have been reported.

If symptoms occur, please consult a doctor . The latter may decide on any necessary measures.

If you forget to use BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray. have
Do not apply twice the amount if you have forgotten the previous application, but continue (if necessary) in the manner indicated.

What are the possible side effects?

How should BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray be stored?

Unopened medicinal product: do not store above 30 °C.
Do not store above 25°C after first opening.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

You must not use the medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the label and outer carton after "Use by:". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.
Shelf life after first opening: 8 weeks

Do not dispose of the medicinal product in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

What BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray contains
- The active ingredients are: Liquid extract of thyme, liquid extract of sage leaves.
1 g contains:
0.32 g liquid extract of thyme (Thymi herba, drug-extract ratio 1:4-6, extracting agent ethanol 70% (V/V)
0.32 g liquid extract of sage leaves (Salviae folium, drug extract ratio 1:4-6, extracting agent ethanol 70% (V/V)
- The other ingredients are: Liquid extract of peppermint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium..., Drug-extract ratio 1:4-6, extracting agent ethanol 70% V/V), levomenthol, saccharin sodium (E 954), hydroxypropyl cellulose, ethanol, purified water

Total alcohol content: approx. 60% V/V
1 spray =126 mg = 0.14 ml

What BRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray looks like and contents of the packBRONCHOSTOP direct throat spray is a brown, clear solution (spray for use in the oral cavity) with a characteristic smell and taste (mainly of peppermint). It is available in amber glass bottles of 15 ml (sufficient for at least 100 applications) with a spray pump and extended spray arm.
