Make your own guacamole!
We supply you with avocados, tomato, shallot and lime. For the necessary kick: chilli and garlic.
Make guacamole
Cut the avocados in half, remove the stone (tip: hit the stone lightly with a knife and simply twist the stone out) and then simply spoon the flesh out of the skin.
Press the juice of the lime over the flesh of the avocado and then mash it into a fine puree. The lime juice not only provides a fruity and sour taste in the guacamole, but it also prevents the avocado pulp from turning brown, as is the case with apples. The ascorbic acid of the lime prevents the oxidation of the dip.
The tomato is seeded and the firm flesh is finely diced, the coriander (optional) is finely chopped, the onion is finely diced, the garlic is very finely chopped (or pressed through a garlic press ), the chilli (optional to taste) is seeded and also finely diced. Add all the ingredients to the bowl with the avocado and mix well. The whole thing is seasoned with plenty of salt and a little pepper and should be consumed fresh. The guacamole can also be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
