Ragout from Cinta Senese DOP pork
The Cinta Senese DOP breed of pig has been raised in Tuscany for a very long time. It is very similar to Iberian pigs and has populated the Sienese hills for several centuries. The ragout is a real gastronomic speciality for all those who love a balanced but strong flavour. Typical Tuscan pork with an unadulterated flavour. An additional ally in the kitchen to refine any pasta dish.
For pasta dishes, we recommend using pappardelle noodles.
About the company:
It all began in 1925 with a small dairy in the old town of Siena. From then on, the name Morbidi became synonymous with "good food" for the locals. In the 1940s, we began working with pork and then with sheep's milk, in line with the oldest local traditions. Over the generations, we have developed into a modern company with a strong focus on sustainability and a short supply chain, but we have never forgotten where we started: in a wonderful place that is still ready to welcome anyone who comes through the heart of Siena.
