Wine Description:
Dark ruby red with bluish reflections. The Amicus shows an intense aroma of ripe dark berries, some cassis and a hint of black Assam tea. Notes of cherry compote in the finish. The best of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt is combined in this cuvée, the "Amicus" as a wine for our friends. On the palate it shows again ripe berries paired with some Arabica coffee and dark chocolate. Despite its youth, it is already drinking well. Its structure may still seem a bit challenging, but it shows the potential of the wine. We enjoy the Amicus best together, in front of the fireplace or listening to the late autumn rain.

Goes well with:
Perfect with Italian cuisine or a Sunday roast. As an idea: roast wild duck, red cabbage with pineapple, oranges and rice. Or with a hearty steak with potato gratin and green beans from your own garden.
